We often leave the people we love the most — not because we stop loving them, but because life pulls us in different directions. As we grow, our values, goals, and ways of thinking change, creating distance from those who once felt closest. Sometimes, unspoken pain or misunderstandings quietly build up, and without realizing it, the bond begins to fade.

This art piece is created using gelatin silver prints, captured with a medium format camera, and finished with hand embroidery. Each thread color in the embroidery represents a stage of letting go — of innocence, of attachment, and of belief. The piece is displayed hanging, symbolizing how some things are left open or unresolved.

It is a reflection on what we’ve left behind in order to become who we are today.
